About me
I am a licensed clinical therapist in California and Colorado (LMFT 111543 and LMFT 0002228), specializing in treating anxiety disorders such as OCD, panic disorder, compulsive skin picking/hair pulling, phobias, body dysmorphia, and trauma. I earned my undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and my master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. My passion lies in providing practical skills and education to empower clients to experience immediate relief from their symptoms.
I view each client as a whole person with unique needs and goals, prioritizing a strong therapeutic relationship and a comprehensive treatment plan that targets current mental health challenges while enhancing overall functioning. My ultimate goal is to help you live a full, vibrant life without anxiety hindering your progress.
I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention, the recognized “gold standard” for anxiety disorders, and incorporate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to address long-standing negative beliefs and narratives. I define success as clients re-engaging in their work, family, relationships, and hobbies while feeling relief from their initial symptoms. Most importantly, success is when clients feel they have achieved their goals. Clients describe my approach as warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental, and I am constantly inspired by their courage and wisdom.
If this resonates with you, I encourage you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to determine if I would be a good fit for your needs.
I am an in-network provider with Lyra, United Health, Aetna, and Cigna.
